About this product:

• Liquid etching ground designed to protect the back and edges of your plate from the bite of the acid during etching;
  
• This protecting varnish is extremely resistant to acid and it is  recommended that it is used for aquatint techniques;
  
• When applying the protecting varnish, your plate must be completely degreased and cold;
  
• It is best applied with a supple brush;
  
• Contents: asphaltum, turpentine;
  
• Dry extract: 25%;
  
• Finish: glossy & opaque.
