Description
Fisher Space Pen Cap-O-Matic matte black pen
Founded in the USA in 1948, Fisher Space Pen became legendary for its unique pressurized ink cartridge, invented by Paul C. Fisher in 1965. In 1968, this pen was first used on the Apollo 7 mission and has accompanied astronauts on every NASA manned spaceflight since, including the Moon landing. Fisher pens are still used aboard the International Space Station today.
About this product:
- Cap-O-Matic mechanism – press the top of the cap with one hand to instantly extend or retract the pen's tip; the cap never needs to be removed, and there's no separate button on the body;
- Non-reflective matte black finish – a durable, non-glare coating makes this pen a trusted choice among military personnel, police officers, firefighters, medical professionals, rescue workers, and construction professionals;
- Writes in any condition – the sealed, pressurized cartridge lets it write underwater, upside down, and even over greasy surfaces;
- Resists extreme temperature swings – stays fully reliable in extreme cold and heat (-30°F to 250°F, -34°C to 121°C);
- Durable brass construction – a long-lasting, rugged body;
- Genuine Fisher PR4 cartridge – black ink with a medium point (compatible with any Fisher PR-style cartridge);
- Origin and packaging – made in Boulder City, Nevada (USA), packaged in a stylish Galaxy gift box.
