Description
RGM gilding glue, water-based
RGM is named after its founder, Rosa Gastaldo Mario, who realised in the late 1950s that there was a demand in the fine art market for high-quality technical products. In 1961 he founded his company in Maniago, a town home to many skilled knife makers and steel workers. Over the years the company expanded significantly. Mario’s son Edoardo took the helm, taking on the challenge of international scenarios by leading RGM into new markets and forging a fruitful collaboration with international contemporary artists. This new goal prompted RGM to improve its production methods, thereby expanding its product range and becoming one of the companies that fine art industry professionals turn to in search of high-quality, Italian-made products.
Today RGM, with the world’s most comprehensive range of products for artists and restorers, is synonymous with Art.
RGM gilding glue is a water-based liquid adhesive designed for sticking pieces of gold leaf onto the object to be gilded.
